The Origin of ROCKETMEN: From Fragrance Idea to Iconic Bottle

Inside the creation of ROCKETMEN: the contemporary fougère structure, 30% concentration and rocket-shaped bottle that established the codes of ROY VIROK.

ROCKETMEN rocket-shaped perfume bottle in a cosmic setting by ROY VIROK

ROCKETMEN began with a question that has accompanied humanity for centuries: what lies beyond?

The answer was never meant to be a literal “space perfume.” The ambition was more demanding: to translate exploration into scent, form and ritual without losing sophistication.

From a fascination to a precise creative brief

The starting point combined three ideas: the momentum of ascent, the darkness of the unknown and the self-possession of someone who moves with direction.

Every decision had to support that brief. The fragrance needed presence without uncontrolled volume. The bottle had to be instantly recognizable without becoming a novelty object. The packaging had to create anticipation while remaining coherent with the product inside.

Building a contemporary fougère

The olfactive structure began with the fougère, one of perfumery’s most enduring families, then moved it into a darker and more contemporary register.

Cardamom and pink pepper create the first ignition: aromatic, bright and precise. Lavender gives the composition its fougère architecture, while incense introduces shadow and verticality. In the base, styrax, patchouli and vetiver provide resinous warmth, texture and lasting direction.

At a 30% concentration, ROCKETMEN is presented as a Parfum Intense. The objective is not density for its own sake, but a controlled evolution on skin: a clear opening, a magnetic heart and a persistent trail.

Designing a bottle that could become a symbol

The rocket-shaped bottle existed from the earliest stages of the project. Its silhouette had to communicate movement immediately, but the execution needed the discipline of a luxury object.

Deep blue glass gives the bottle depth. The glossy black magnetic cap creates contrast. Champagne-gold details introduce light without excess. The sculptural fins and metallic base give the form stability, transforming the rocket reference into a display object.

The most difficult balance was avoiding the obvious. A bold silhouette can become a gimmick when proportion, material and finish are treated as secondary. For ROCKETMEN, those details were the design.

One universe, from fragrance to packaging

The bottle, box and fragrance were developed as a single system. The dark palette, star code, metallic accents and opening ritual all serve the same idea of a mission prepared with precision.

This coherence matters because luxury is rarely created by one spectacular element. It emerges when every touchpoint confirms the same standard.

Created in Spain, designed to travel

ROCKETMEN is the first fragrance from ROY VIROK, an independent Spanish perfume house with an international point of view. Its origin is specific, but its language is deliberately open: curiosity, ambition and the desire to go further do not belong to one place.

The result is both fragrance and signal — an object designed to be recognized, worn and remembered.

The first mission, not the final destination

ROCKETMEN established the codes of ROY VIROK: high concentration, a strong olfactive identity, sculptural design and a narrative that connects every element.

It is the beginning of an expanding universe, not a closed statement. Future missions will explore different colors, forces and emotions while remaining linked by the same demand for coherence.
